The Re-Birth of Stringfellow Orchards began in December 2005. World renowned horticulturist Henry Martyn Stringfellow operated his Orchards at this location in the late 1800's. The property was once considered "The Showplace of the Gulf Coast" by American Horticulturists that visited the site in 1890. When you visit the property, you are allowed to step back in time. A time when life was much simplier and families spent time on the porch loving each other.

Visitors to the site often ask, "What do you grow at the Orchards?" Previous owners grew fruit trees, vegetables and flowers. I am reminded of a Chinese proverb that states, If you want 1 year of prosperity, grow grain. If you want 10 years of prosperity, grow trees. If you want 100 years of prosperity, grow people. Today at Stringfellow Orchards it is our mission to GROW PEOPLE!!!
